Iwi want protestors at Parliament to leave

From First Up, 5:37 am on 2 March 2022

Iwi say the protesters have lost their right to occupy their whenua and are asking them to pack up their things and leave. This week, Taranaki Whanui in Wellington - who were served a bogus trespass notice from protesters via the backdoor of their own marae - laid down 'Te Kahu o te Raukura' or 'a cloak of peace' on its takiwa until a resolution was met. Meanwhile in Auckland where occupations started over the weekend, Ngati Whatua Orakei has joined those telling the protesters they are no longer welcome. Maori news director Mani Dunlop reports.
