Efeso Collins endorsed by Labour to be mayor of Auckland

The Labour Party has endorsed Councillor Efeso Collins for the mayoralty of Auckland. The current mayor Phil Goff will not be seeking re-election this year saying he wants to see a new generation of leadership for the city. The new mayor will inherit a council laden with debt, a cost of living crisis and a city at the centre of New Zealand's Covid-19 outbreak. Efeso Collins spoke with Nathan Rarere.
