Last mannequin maker in country Glen Wilkin-Holland
As you walk the high streets of the cities, you can't help but notice how the latest fashions hug their figures perfectly. That's right, we're talking about mannequins. One man who's been in the business for nearly half a century is Glen Wilkin-Holland who owns Purfex Mannequins, the last mannequin making business left in the country. What was a huge factory in Parnell is now a workshop out the back of Glen's garden in West Auckland. He spoke to reporter Louise Ternouth about his almost fifty years in the business and how he got started in the first place.
