Kakapo having good breeding season on predator-free islands

From First Up, 5:25 am on 2 February 2022

Just off the coast of Fiordland are a number of predator free islands that are home to some of New Zealand's rarest residents, the kakapo. Our producer Ellie Jay talked to kakapo and takahe science advisor Andrew Digby who is on Anchor Island at the moment.
