AK hairdressers can't wait to see hairy clients with passes

From First Up, 5:26 am on 23 November 2021

On Thursday the scissors will be cleaned off, the razors sharpened and the creases flapped out of the folded up capes as Auckland's hairdressers will be able to reopen. They'll also be the first businesses in the country to trial the new vaccine passes when they do. After yesterday's announcement Nathan Rarere discussed the news with Tayla Carpenter from Tayla'd Styling in Silverdale. She's spent tens of thousands of dollars to keep the business afloat during the latest lockdown and has been selling at-home colour kits to survive. Needless to say, she was pretty pleased with yesterday's developments.
