Northland iwi leader fed up with disruptive anti-vax protestors
A Northland Iwi leader says people are fed up with the region being targetted by anti-vax protesters, who yesterday disrupted the flow of freight and the vaccination effort. A police officer was bitten by one of the protesters, a few dozen of whom who had gathered at Auckland's northern border at Te Hana. You would have seen the thousands of protesters who descended on Parliament in Wellington, apparently various groups involved in that are pledging further disruptions this week. Te Runanga o Ngati Whatua chief operating officer Antony Thompson witnessed the Northland protest at Te Hana. He spoke with our producer Matthew Theunissen.
