How vaccination centres are helping the vax hesitant
Yesterday on First Up we heard from several Aucklanders who were hesitant about getting the vaccine, with some of them outright refusing to get it. If we're to be protected from Covid-19 we need everyone on board, so what can be done to reach those who fear what the vaccine will do to them? What's clear is that the country's vaccination centres are going to be front and centre of the effort. Our producer Matthew Theunissen went to Turuki Health Care in Mangere town centre, where he had met the vaccine hesitant Aucklanders the day before. He spoke with the centre's Primary Care Manager Renee Muru-Barnard.
