UK based Kiwi given up on getting MIQ spot under lobby system

Last night at least 27-thousand people gathered in the virtual MIQ lobby in a desperate bid for one of 3800 vouchers to come home before Christmas. UK-based Kiwi Sarah-Jane Taylor-Seres was to visit family in New Zealand at the start of the pandemic, only to have her flight cancelled as covid-19 spread around the globe. But despite actively trying to get home for so long - she's one of the few who stepped back last night because she felt others were in more need. Ellie Jay asked her about her 18 month long attempt to get home.
