AK locksmith closes storefront business due to pandemic

For six generations Russell Smith's family has been in the locksmithing trade. But lockdown has meant his central Auckland business is calling it a day. After 33 years the family business on Ponsonby Rd is to become a mobile-only operation, because - as a poster in the store window reads - 'the retail side of the business no longer supports the cost of being on the strip'.
