Warriors players withdraw MIQ bids so staff can come home
The Warriors players have withdrawn their bids for MIQ rooms in the hope that it makes it easier for their nine staff members to get a spot. The players have written to Minister of Sport and Deputy Prime Minister Grant Robertson pleading with him to help secure spots for the nine staff members who've been away from their families for many months. The players, meanwhile, have resigned to the fact that they won't be coming home anytime soon. Warriors forward Tohu Harris explained the situation to our producer Matthew Theunissen.
