AK businesses need more support to survive current lockdown

Some Auckland businesses believe this lockdown could be the straw that breaks the camel's back and they may have no choice but to close down. This is despite the wage subsidy, resurgence payment support and small business cashflow schemes that have been introduced by the government. The hospitality sector has been amongst those hardest hit by the country's numerous lockdowns. Our producer Matthew Theunissen spoke with the co-owner of central Auckland restaurant Vivace, Mandy Lusk, about what it's been like for her business.
