NZ epidemiologist:British public over inept pandemic management
One of New Zealand's leading voices through the Covid-19 pandemic, Michael Baker, believes the British public have had enough of "inept pandemic management". The University of Otago epidemiologist has been all over the British media recently after he and a number of International and New Zealand public health experts raised serious concerns about the UK government's sudden relaxation of Covid-19 rules on Monday ...despite recording among the highest new case numbers in the world. Our producer Matthew Theunissen asked Dr Baker, whether the entire trans-Tasman bubble should be paused now that South Australia has joined Victoria and New South Wales on New Zealand's red list.
