Tokyo prepared for Olympics despite Covid cases rising

After being postponed for a year, the still-named '2020 Tokyo Olympics will officially open this Saturday. The action starts 2 days early for both the Football ferns who play Australia, and the men's OlyWhites who face the Republic of Korea before the Olympic torch is even lit. Meanwhile the host city is in the middle of yet another Covid-19 surge of more than 1000 daily cases, with at least 55 inside the Olympic village already. Our correspondent in Tokyo, Chris Gilbert told Nathan Rarere how the city is preparing.
