Award-winning production, 'The Lion King' opens in Auckland

After a year-long hiatus, the international touring stage production of the Lion King is here. An estimated 100 million people worldwide have seen the six-time Tony Award-winning production and tonight it opens in Auckland. All your favourite characters Simba, Nala, Timone and Pumba will be performing and more than 100,000 tickets have been sold for the run, breaking New Zealand records. Nathan Rarere spoke with associate director Anthony Lyn.
