Tipi Autagavaia updates us on the Supreme court of Samoa
Samoa is facing a constitutional crisis after the ousted head of state declared that he was suspending parliament, only for this to be ruled unlawful by the country's Supreme Court. After making his edict, he left his official residence in Apia and headed to his home village of Matautu-Falelatai, under heavy police guard. Due to the court's ruling, Parliament is scheduled to convene today and the newcomer Fa'atuatua i le Atua Samoa or FAST party is expected to declare a majority of seats. Our correspondenet Tipi Autagavaia, joined us from Apia.
