Cyclist, Sam Dakin on mental health and joining the sprint team

After overcoming multiple injuries and a battle with his mental health, Auckland cyclist Sam Dakin has realised his dream of making the New Zealand Olympic squad The 25-year-old stepped into the men's sprint team following the retirement of Eddie Dawkins, joining three-time World Champs, and Rio 2016 silver medallists, Ethan Mitchell and Sam Webster. Nathan Rarere spoke with Sam about racing alongside the best in the business, and also the work he's been doing around mental health in high-performance sport.
