Thames Hospital ransomware attack called terrorism

The Mayor of Thames District is calling the ransomware attack on the Waikato DHB terrorism. Thames Hospital is one of five public hospitals in the Waikato region working completely offline - with all computer systems closed down as IT specialists battle to resolve the problem. Outpatient clinics continue to be affected, along with some elective surgery, and radiation treatment. Andrew McRae reports.
