Cook Islands' vaccinate 5 per cent of population on Day 1
Let's begin in the Cook Islands where our defence force will help officials distribute the Pfizer vaccine by plane and by boat to people on outer and remote islands. The vaccination programme began on Tuesday night, just hours after the first bubble-flight landed with the vials onboard. Already, 662 people have been vaccinated- that's more than five per cent of the population. Health secretary Bob Williams told our reporter Nick Truebridge how the rollout would work.
