Peace between Israel, Palestine a long way away
Back to the fighting in Gaza now, where former Israeli Defense Minister Naftali Bennett says only Israel will decide when the military operation is complete. The leader of the right-wing Yamina Party told the BBC that all the casualties were the due to Hamas's decision to start firing rockets into Israel. Since the fighting began last Monday at least 188 people have been killed in Gaza according to Palestinian officials, while Israel has reported 10 dead, including two children. Israel says dozens of militants are among the dead in Gaza, while Palestinian health officials say its death toll includes 41 children.
