ME/CFS charity supports long Covid sufferers

An Auckland-based charity says people suffering the effects of Covid-19 weeks if not months after recovering from the initial virus are in desperate need of support and funding. ME Auckland, which helps people with chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia, has turned its attention to Long Covid sufferers due to the similar symptoms they often experience. The charity's vice president, Kate Duder, told our reporter Ella Stewart there may be many people suffering chronic fatigue after contracting Covid-19 who don't realise that help is available.
