NZ canoe slalom paddler gives up job to focus on Olympics
The Tokyo Olympics are fast approaching ... it's 74 days to go until the games begin. In the lead up, we're talking to New Zealand's Olympic athletes as they prepare for the event they've prepared their whole lives for. Callum Gilbert is a canoe slalom paddler who gave up his job as a software engineer to focus on that Olympic dream. The gamble paid off and this will be his first time competing at the Olympics. Nathan Rarere spoke with Callum about how he's feeling as the big day gets closer.
