NZ High Commission in India apologises after oxygen tweet

Back to India now, where the New Zealand High Commission in New Delhi has had to apologise to the Indian Government after tweeting a plea for an oxygen cylinder to help several locally hired staff members. This comes as the country grapples with a devastating second wave of Covid-19 and a slow vaccine rollout, meaning Hospital beds and supplies of oxygen are desperately needed. But as Indian Youth Congress national convenor Manu Jain explained to our producer Matthew Theunissen, the group was just responding to a call for help when they left the cylinder at the High Commission gates.
