Couple who missed out on bubble enjoying stay in MIQ

While the first travellers from Australia were able to walk right through the arrivals gates without quarantining yesterday, people who landed in the country just 24 hours prior are still having to complete 14 days of managed isolation. While for some people, missing out on the travel bubble has been infuriating, Drew Squire is enjoying kicking back for a fortnight, and is enjoying plenty of lamb and feijoas. After 17 years living in Australia, he and his partner returned to New Zealand to live on Saturday. He spoke with our producer Matthew Theunissen about the experience.
