From First Up, 5:49 am on 1 April 2021

The Deputy Prime Minister Grant Robertson says the government won't get involved in discussions about US investment company Silver Lake's plans to buy 15 per cent of New Zealand Rugby. The proposed 460 million dollar deal would give Silver Lake a 15 percent stake in the game which is cause for concern for some current players. Nathan Rarere spoke to Mr Robertson about the proposal, but started by asking him about the possible merger between Radio New Zealand and TVNZ.
