From First Up, 5:44 am on 25 March 2021

New Zealand's third largest bank Westpac has revealed it's considering selling off its New Zealand business. Just before the markets closed last night, the bank told the NZX it was 'assessing the appropriate structure for its NZ business and whether a demerger would be in the best interests of shareholders'. Nathan Rarere spoke to Deputy Prime Minister and sports minister Grant Robertson as he arrived at last night's Halberg Sports Awards and asked him if he'd like to see Westpac back in New Zealand ownership.
