Maori Council: give emergency accomodation money to Marae

Matthew Tukaki from the Maori Council says instead of spending a million dollars a day on motels - pay marae to provide emergency accomodation. Mr Tukaki made the suggestion on Facebook a few days ago and it's absolutely gone off - receiving thousands of shares and comments, the vast majority of them positive. It comes just ahead of the government's housing policy announcement later today. He spoke with Nathan Rarere.
