Face of My Space exhibit at Wairoa Museum, raw and living

The Face of My Space is the name of a new exhibition which opened this week at the Wairoa Museum. Artist Joanna Tokona, who tackled these new paintings over lockdown is influenced by her surroundings - the Wairoa river, the spectacular landscapes on the way to Mahia Peninsula as well as the recent death of her beloved husband Taane. Nathan Rarere talked with Joanna as she was supervising the final display of her works and asked her how she would describe her exhibition?
