Aucklanders feeling the strain of yet another lockdown
Aucklanders are back in lockdown after a Manukau Institute of Technology student who should have been isolating, tested positive for Covid-19. Case M went to class, to work and the gym while he was potentially symptomatic. The Prime Minister announced yesterday that contact tracers have linked the 21 year old to a previous Covid case, offering some assurance that there isn't an unidentified chain of transmission in the community. However, given the student's high number of potential contacts, Jacinda Ardern says it remains necessary for the city to stay at Alert Level 3. And as Ella Stewart reports, Aucklanders are feeling the strain of yet another lockdown.
