New research has highlighted the risk Covid-19 poses to wildlife in one of the most remote places on earth - Antarctica A group of 15 scientists published a paper this week which found that despite its isolation and miniscule population, there are factors which make Covid-19 a real concern for the continent's fragile ecosystems. One of the paper's authors is Dr Meagan Dewar from Federation University in Melbourne, who studies the infectious diseases in wildlife. She explained the findings to our producer Matthew Theunissen.
