The honeymoon continues for the Labour government with the first political poll since the election showing the party on 53 per cent - up seven per cent since the last poll almost two months ago. The One News Colmar Brunton poll has National down 6 per cent to 25 per cent and ACT and the Greens on 8 per cent each. The Maori Party is on 2 per cent. In the preferred Prime Minister stakes, Jacinda Ardern cruised to 58 - up three per cent and National leader Judith Collins was down 8 to 12 per cent. And while that might not surprise you, what might is that in third and fourth place as preferred Prime Minister is Act leader David Seymour on 4 per cent and first time National MP former Air New Zealand boss Christopher Luxon on 2 per cent. Nathan Rarere spoke with former United Future leader and political commentator Peter Dunne.
