The Wonderful World of TradeMe with Ruby Topzand

Earlier this year, the Variegated Monstera came out of nowhere to be one of the most sought after and highly prized pot-plants ever listed on TradeMe. In January, one example reached 5-thousand dollars on the site. But with the big dollars on offer comes the occasional scam. A fake listing was recently spotted by plant lovers and the auction was quickly pulled. TradeMe's Ruby Topzand explained to producer Jeremy Parkinson how their systems work when problematic listings are flagged - and she touches on a couple of auctions with links to World War Two.
