From First Up, 5:51 am on 13 November 2020

Workers in central Auckland are being asked to stay home today if possible - and to wear a mask - after a woman who lives and works in the CBD tested positive for Covid-19. Health workers are scrambling to find the source of transmission, but as of last night still don't know where she contracted the virus. The woman, who's in her 20s, works at a clothing store on High Street called A to Z Collections and is a student at AUT, but hasnt been on campus since October. The woman felt sick on Monday, she was tested the following day and told to self isolate until she had the results. But the Ministry of Health says after a conversation with her manager she went to work anyway, while she was likely contagious .. .although she did wear a mask. Residents at the woman's apartment block at 106 vincent street have been asked to get tested, and to isolate at home until they have the results. University of Otago epidemiologist Michael Baker spoke with Nita Blake-Persen.
