NZ vaccinologist:new Covid-19 vaccine leads to normal life

After yesterday's fantastic news that drug company Pfizer has developed a 90 per cent effective Covid-19 vaccine, the race to get final approval and have it distributed around the world is on. Pfizer and German partner BioNTech SE are the first drug makers to release successful data from a large-scale clinical trial of a coronavirus vaccine. The companies said they have so far found no serious safety concerns and expect to seek US authorisation this month for emergency use of the vaccine. Our reporter Lydia Batham asked University of Auckland vaccinologist Helen Petousis-Harris if this is going to make things a little more normal around the world.
