US election:counting votes continues with Biden closest to 270

To the US where Joe Biden's campaign team are expressing increasing confidence in winning the White House, with a victory in Michigan and a projected win in Wisconsin. Currently the former Vice-President is sitting on 253 electoral college votes out of the 270 needed to win. President Trump's total so far is 213 votes. Seven states are yet to declare a winner.
