Thousands of air fares snapped up but not to Auckland
Thousands of cheap air fares are being snapped up following relaxed physical distancing rules on flights, but travel agents say Auckland is losing visitors. Air New Zealand sold 110,000 tickets on Monday after the Government removed physical distancing requirements on flights - 160,000 tickets were made available for less than $50. General Manager of product at Flight Centre Victoria Courtney told our reporter Louise Ternouth there's still a strong appetite for domestic travel but not to the big smoke.
