Experts don't want to move Covid alert levels yet

From First Up, 5:52 am on 14 September 2020

A covid-tracer alert was sent over the weekend after an infectious person attended a fitness class at a gym on the North Shore. It comes just hours before Cabinet meets to decide whether or not to move Auckland from Alert Level 2.5 and the rest of the country from Alert Level 2. The person went to a spin class at Les Mills Takapuna on Wednesday last week - anyone who attended the class is considered a close contact. Two new cases were reported yesterday - the first a returnee in managed isolation, while the second was a health worker at the Jet Park Quarantine hotel. All other staff at the hotel are being retested and close contacts are being isolated and tested too. So, are we ready to change alert level at 11.59pm this Wednesday?
