Five to Thrive - tamariki top of agenda for election

Put the needs of tamariki at the top of the agenda this election - that's the call from four leading children's organisations. Barnardos, Te Kahui Mana Ririki, Whanau Awhina Plunket and Save the Children New Zealand have launched a joint initiative called Five to Thrive. They're highlighting five key points they want politicans and voters to focus on - racial inequity, poverty reduction, improving poor housing, access to mental health support and early years funding.
