Misinformation hindering testing, finding Covid-19 cases

The Auckland August cluster continues to grow - with six new cases yesterday bringing the total to 171. 43 of those are connected to the Mt Roskill Evangelical Fellowship - of which 22 have now been identified as attending bereavement events. The Health Minister said yesterday some of those linked to the sub-cluster don't believe in the seriousness of the pandemic - with some ministers fighting an uphill battle against a tide of misinformation about the virus. Methodist minister for Auckland and Hamilton, Reverend Frank Ritchie, says some ministers are losing the battle.
