Give-a-little funds to help stranded foreigners on Waiheke Is

Stranded on Waiheke Island, sleeping in cars and struggling to make ends meet. According to the Waiheke Budgeting Services Trust, that's the situation 200 foreign nationals are facing, after getting stuck on the island due to covid-19 border closures. Because of their visa status, they aren't entitled to any government support - so the service has stepped in to support them. But manager Amelia Lawley told Louise Ternouth they're now balancing supporting the foreign nationals alongside locals in need, so they've turned to Give a Little.
