Central Pulse defend title, pleasing for coach McCausland-Durie

The Central Pulse have gone back-to-back in the ANZ Premiership, giving their departing coach Yvette McCausland-Durie the perfect send off. After a long season disrupted by Covid-19, the Pulse successfully defended their title last night, beating the Mainland Tactix 43-31 in Invercargill. Pulse shooter Ameliaranne Ekenasio told sports reporter Bridget Tunnicliffe they wanted to make amends for their loss to the Tactix two weeks ago.
