Thousands of Aucklanders turning to foodbanks

Thousands of Aucklanders are desperately turning to food banks as increasing job losses wipe out family incomes. In Takanini yesterday, cars formed queues kilometres long for food parcels from the local Sikh temple. And in Otahuhu, the community support organisation Affirming Works was flat-out preparing necessities for locals in need. Our reporter Matthew Theunissen visited them yesterday and spoke with Emeline Afeaki-Mafile'o.
