Accomodation sector needs extra Covid funding

A warning from hotels - the situation is dire and they're almost at the end of the road. The New Zealand Hotel Owners Association are now calling for some of the government's Covid-19 tourism fund to be allocated to the accommodation sector. Executive Director Amy Robens told Indira Stewart hotels have been bleeding bookings since the alert level change on Tuesday - and after months without international bookings, many are struggling to make ends meet.
