Horticulture NZ: independent green grocers should be open

Horticulture New Zealand is frustrated independent greengrocers in Auckland are being forced to close under the level three lockdown. The industry fought hard last lockdown to try to get Government approval to continue trading - warning of food waste and financial loss - but was unsuccessful. Horticulture New Zealand's chief executive, Mike Chapman, says it's disheartening independent grocers in Auckland are once again back in this positon. He told rural reporter Maja Burry, it's lobbying the government to change its stance.
