"You'll never walk again" good motivation for paracyclist

From First Up, 5:32 am on 5 August 2020

For the Auckland para cyclist Sarah Ellington, being told she'd never walk again, was all the motivation she needed to prove them wrong. Five years ago Ellington fell out of an apple tree and fractured two vertebra - she was paralysed from the waist down. She spent three months in the Auckland spinal unit and this year was set to compete at the Tokyo Paralympics. Quite an achievement for Ellington who never accepted that she would be restricted to a wheelchair.
