Brisbane traveller frustrated at Air NZ refunds/credit rules

From First Up, 5:32 am on 4 August 2020

An Australian whose planned New Zealand holiday can't go ahead says Air New Zealand's lack of compassion about refunding has put him off the airline. Under current rules only New Zealand citizens, permanent residents and their partners and dependent children can enter, barring a few exceptions. And Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said yesterday a trans-Tasman travel bubble won't be on the cards until Australia has no cases of community trasmission for 28 days. It means Brisbane man Graham Townsend has had to cancel his planned August skiing trip in the South Island. He told First Up's Lydia Batham he's had no problem gettings his money back for most of his bookings here, but it's been a different story with Air New Zealand.
