Victoria's declared a State of Disaster and introduced sweeping new restrictions across Melbourne under stage four. 671 new coronavirus cases have been detected since Saturday and 7 people have died, taking Victoria's Covid-19 death toll to 123. State Premier Daniel Andrews says the source of transmission for 760 active cases cannot be traced so far. Under the new restrictions, people can't travel more than 5 kilometres from their home, only one person in the household can go shopping and just once a day, outdoor exercise is limited to 1 hour and a night time curfew is in place between 8pm and 5am. The strict lockdown will last until mid-September for Melbourne while regional Victoria will enter a Stage 3 lockdown from midnight Wednesday. Details about workplaces and fines are to be announced today. Melbourne resident Adele Freeman was among the first to enter the second lockdown at the begining of July and told me how the changes will affect her.
