NZers in UK travel to work around visa limits, extensions

A New Zealander living in the UK plans to take a trip to Spain then return on a tourist visa, so she doesn't overstay her current work visa. The British Government issued an extension to all visas which expired from late January onwards - but that extension is coming to an end next week. So far, there's been no indication whether it'll be extended again. But many Kiwis living in the UK are struggling to be able to get out of the country in time, with flights back to New Zealand limited and expensive. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is urging anyone in the UK to make sure they're out of the country by the time their visa expires, or face possible consequences further down the line. Neha Paranjape has been living in London for two years now. She told our reporter Harry Lock, her options for getting home are now looking limited.
