Lawyer calls for urgent review of Covid-19 prosecutions

From First Up, 5:43 am on 22 July 2020

A defence lawyer is calling for Covid-19 prosecutions to be urgently reviewed in light of a significant backlog in the District Court. Defence lawyer Elizabeth Hall says each of these prosecutions should be urgently reviewed to ensure they're not unnecessarily clogging up an already-backlogged justice system.
