Hawke's Bay farmers show council valuable crop lands

A small group of Hawke's Bay farmers are putting pressure on the local councils to ensure urban development doesn't destroy valuable crop lands. Richard Gaddum, who has a cattle farm in Havelock North, looks out at a panoramic vista of the Heretaunga Plains each day. He says over time, he's seen industrial and housing buildings built on productive farmland, destroying it for generations.
