Woman angry at escapee's selfish visit to supermarket

A woman who was in the Countdown store visited by a man who later tested positive for Covid-19 is angered by the man's actions. The man, in his 30s, arrived from New Delhi on July third, and escaped from his managed isolation stay at the Stamford Plaza Hotel in Auckland on Tuesday night. He left through a section of fencing which was being replaced, and went to the store on Victoria Street West in the city centre. One woman Satine told our reporter Jean Bell she visited the store on the same night the escapee went shopping.
